Corrections Policy
Our commitment to math and factual integrity at InvestKit.
1. Commitment to Accuracy
InvestKit covers personal finance, systematic investments, and retirement planning. Given the high stakes of retail wealth planning, mathematical correctness and up-to-date tax guidelines are paramount. We review all calculations regularly to align with changing tax structures (e.g., changes in mutual fund capital gains taxes) and inflation reports.
2. How to Report an Error
If you believe a calculator is returning incorrect outputs (e.g., compounding mismatch, wrong currency formatting), or if a guide contains a factual discrepancy (e.g., outdated tax slabs), please let us know immediately:
Email: info@investkit.in
Subject line: Correction Report: [Name of Calculator / Article]
Please include: A screenshot, the inputs used, and a brief description of the expected output vs the actual output.
3. Verification & Resolution Process
Once a report is received, our Editor-in-Chief, Hitesh Yadav, will personally verify the mathematical formulation within **72 business hours**.
If an error is found, we will:
- Update the underlying script or text content immediately.
- Add a corrections update tag to the bottom of the affected page (e.g., "Updated on [Date] to correct compounding interval math").
- Maintain a record of structural corrections in our developer logs to ensure code quality.
