How we monetize InvestKit without compromising our math or editorial independence.
1. Revenue Model & Funding
InvestKit is a free educational platform. We do not sell premium courses, charge subscription fees for calculators, or locking articles behind a paywall.
To keep our servers running and support ongoing tool development, we utilize a combination of advertising networks (such as Google AdSense) and affiliate links to popular financial services.
2. How Affiliate Links Work
Some pages and calculator outputs display referral links to partner platforms (such as stockbrokers, mutual fund portals, or credit card issuers). If you click on one of these links and complete a sign-up or deposit, we may receive a small commission or referral fee from the provider.
This commission comes at **no extra cost to you**. In fact, our links sometimes feature promotional discounts or waived registration fees. Clicking these links sets a temporary cookie so partners can track referrals (refer to our Privacy Policy for cookie rules).
3. Protecting Editorial Integrity
We are first and foremost an educational platform. Our affiliate partnerships **never** dictate our mathematical findings or reviews:
- We do not inflate return expectations to make certain asset classes look better.
- If a high-cost active mutual fund performs poorly compared to a direct plan, our calculators will display the exact drag, regardless of referral commission scales.
- We only display links to brokerage tools and apps that we believe are genuinely useful and carry fair fee frameworks for retail investors in India.
